This two-acre fully-fenced dog park also contains water spigots, shade trees, benches, and grass, giving dogs plenty of freedom to run.

Bellis Dog Park, located directly north of the tennis courts of George Bellis Park, is a grassy, enclosed area for off-leash play. There are also drinking fountains and trees in the park. The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with the exception of Thursdays, when it is open at 10:00 a.m. due to weekly maintenance.

Visit La Purisima Mission State Park with your dog to travel back in time over 200 years. Throughout the year, there are period demonstrations as well as a 5-acre garden and approximately 25 acres of hiking paths. The paths have a variety of surfaces, including tarmac, sand, and mud. During your visit, keep your dog on a leash and clean up after her. You'll also want to keep an eye on Petzooie for ticks, which can be a problem. If you decide to leave the trail, keep an eye out for poison oak.

Coal Oil Point Trail is a 1.5-mile easy hike in Goleta, California that takes around one hour with Petzooie. On the bluffs and at Campus Beach, dogs are welcome. If you go near the dunes or other sites where the endangered Snowy Plover is protected, you could be fined a lot of money. Petzooie must be kept on a leash at all times and kept away from gated areas.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Truckee River Bike Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad track, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Tahoe City! 930. Echo Park Lake

Dogs are welcome at Echo Park Lake! On the walkways around the lake in this East Los Angeles park, leashed dogs are welcome. The park is open from sunrise to dusk every day.
