Visit La Purisima Mission State Park with your dog to travel back in time over 200 years. Throughout the year, there are period demonstrations as well as a 5-acre garden and approximately 25 acres of hiking paths. The paths have a variety of surfaces, including tarmac, sand, and mud. During your visit, keep your dog on a leash and clean up after her. You'll also want to keep an eye on Petzooie for ticks, which can be a problem. If you decide to leave the trail, keep an eye out for poison oak.
