Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports Hermosa Valley Greenbelt, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Manhattan Beach! A parking lot with easy access to the Hermosa Valley Greenbelt is shown on the map below.

Pets are allowed to run and play off-leash in the lower area of the gorgeous Oak Hill park during authorized times. Because the location is not fenced, exercise caution.

Azusa's Bungee America's Bridge to Nowhere Jump is a once-in-a-lifetime event that includes your dog. Your trip begins with a drive through the magnificent San Gabriel Canyon, followed by a 5-mile hike through the Angeles National Forest to the iconic Bridge to Nowhere. Petzooie is allowed to come along on the hike with you so he can see you jump off the bridge. This is not a trip for the faint of heart. Trekking and preparation are essential, and your dog must have extensive backcountry hiking expertise as well as be a strong swimmer with rapid water experience. Year-round, trips are planned on Saturdays and Sundays.
