Eco Boat Rentals in San Diego, CA, is a dog-friendly sport that offers hydro-cycle boats and pedal kayaks in San Diego Bay. They also have a variety of canine life vests in various sizes. Leashed dogs are welcome as long as they clean up after themselves.

RRUFF Dog Park, located within Johnson Springview Park, is a lovely off-leash park featuring three different zones for large dogs, small dogs, and special needs pups. A fenced 30x60 foot special needs space with artificial turf, concrete road, huge shade canopy, and seats is available. There is also an agility course and picnic tables. RRUFF Dog Park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week.

The 8-mile Pyramid Peak Trail in San Bernardino National Forest is a moderate, dog-friendly hike that will take around 4 hours to accomplish with Petzooie. This trail is part of the Pacific Crest Trail's Desert Divide section. With mountains to the north and south, the Salton Sea to the west, and the valley below, the view is breathtaking. Due to the severe heat and continual sun exposure, this location is mostly deserted. The trail is best used from June to October and is generally used for hiking and snowshoeing. While on this trail, Petzooie must be kept on a leash.

With Petzooie, the 12-mile Thomas Mountain Trail in the San Bernardino National Forest will take roughly 6 hours to complete. This beautiful walk offers breathtaking vistas while still providing lots of seclusion. On this progressively inclining track, you'll pass through four temperate zones and plenty of shade.

This completely gated neighborhood dog park, which is mulched to keep dogs and owners clean, is ideal for off-leash play.

Badger Park has a fenced off-leash area with benches, a picnic table, water stations, an information kiosk, and covered places for tiny dogs under 17 inches tall.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Crocker Park Recreational Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad track, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Brisbane! The trailhead for the Crocker Park Recreational Trail is shown on the map below.

Pets are welcome at Knights Ferry Recreation Area. Bring Petzooie to this popular outdoor spot for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The major draw is the covered bridge, but there are also a lot of pet-friendly trails to explore. Enjoy a lunch along the picturesque Stanislaus River while learning about the area's history and scenic ancient structures. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., are the hours of operation of Knights Ferry Recreation Area.
