Dog Park Locations

Doran Regional Park near Bodega Bay, often known as Doran Beach, is a dog-friendly length of sand. It's the ideal spot for a walk with your dog, with a 2-mile stretch of sandy beach. At this fantastic beach, visitors enjoy walking, picnicking, playing on the sand, flying kites, surfing, and bird-watching. Make a point of visiting the park's rock jetty on the west end with your leashed dog. There's even a section of the beach dedicated to dog off-leash fun. The cost of parking is $7. Doran Beach is open from 7 a.m. to sunset every day of the week.

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners in the tasting room at the dog-friendly Societe Brewing Company in San Diego, CA, where Petzooie can enjoy a treat made from leftover grains while you sip one of the numerous brews on tap. Throughout the year, Societe Brewing Company sponsors a variety of fundraisers for local animal rescue groups. On-site food trucks are available.

Dogs Run Free of Nevada County is a gated 1.7-acre part of Condon Park in Grass Valley featuring a separate area for small/shy dogs. Water, accessible parking, benches, rubbish cans, and non-operational fire hydrants are also spread around the pine forest park (no grass).

At this park, Petzooie will enjoy running around on real grass with his companions. When it's time to cool off, there's water accessible, as well as waste bags for cleanup.

The Aliso Creek Riding and Hiking Trail is a multi-use trail in Mission Viejo that's perfect for walking Petzooie! The parking lot shown on the map below provides easy access to the Aliso Creek Riding and Hiking Trail.

This enclosed dog park, which includes a separate section for little dogs, is ideal for off-leash play.

La Paws Park is a three-acre off-leash dog park in Mission Viejo, California. It is divided into three sections: two for large and small breeds, and one for single-owner use.

Palm View Peak Trail is a challenging, but dog-friendly 8.6-mile climb in San Bernardino National Forest that will take Petzooie around 4 hours to accomplish. This may not be the trek for you if you want to hike to a mountain with a spectacular view. This trail is for those who want to enjoy a hike but don't require it to take them anywhere spectacular. The path to the top is a little difficult to identify, but with a map and some trail sense, you can find the peak and trail register. While on this trail, Petzooie must be leashed.
