Doran Regional Park

There are several pet-friendly sites to enjoy at Sonoma Coast State Park. At this popular state park, broad sandy beaches extend out along a gorgeous coastline of natural arches and quiet coves. Although dogs are not permitted on Goat Rock Beach, your leashed companion can accompany you to Blind Beach, which is located off the south parking lot at Goat Rock. Dogs are also allowed at Wright's Beach and the Bodega Dunes campground. By contacting Sonoma Coast State Park directly, you may learn more about the park's opening hours.

As long as your dog is under your care, Dillon Beach is a dog-friendly beach. Parking in the lot costs money from sunrise to dusk.

Dogs are welcome to romp and play in the river and on the beach at Monte Rio Community Beach, which is located on the west side of the Russian River bridge.

Wander Kehoe Beach's dog-friendly north trail with your four-legged buddy against a stunning backdrop of sandstone and granite cliffs. Dogs must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times.

The West County & Rodota Trails are part of a countrywide network of 1600 rail-trails maintained by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from old rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Sebastopol!

Dogs on leashes are welcome throughout Ragle Ranch Regional Park, but your pooch can take a break from her tether at the Animal Care Center of Sonoma County Dog Park, which is located within the park. Despite the lack of a separate space for small and large dogs, there is a daily 'Small Dog Hour,' with the park reserved for dogs weighing 30 pounds or less.
