Enjoy a picturesque hike with your pet, who is welcome to accompany you on the trails off-leash. On the lawn, pets must be on a leash, and an off-leash permission is required. There are no fences around the place.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Iron Horse Regional Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Danville! A parking lot with easy access to the Iron Horse Regional Trail is shown on the map below.

This modest dog park, located just off Skyline Boulevard, is ideal for those seeking quiet park time.

Bidwell Park is Chico, California's crown jewel, with miles of pathways for you and your dog to explore. Upper park has dedicated off-leash sections as well as some water fun! The park is large, and there are numerous ways to get around it. It is recommended that you go to their website to choose the trail you want to go on. Have a blast!

Bring Petzooie to Mt. Shasta Dog Park to play off-leash. Shade, chairs, and water are provided in the fenced-in area. It's near Shastice Park, on the corner of Rockfellow and Adams Drives. Owners must keep their dogs on a leash until they enter Mt. Shasta Dog Park, and they must clean up after them.

On the California coast, Hearst San Simeon State Park is a pet-friendly location. The San Carpoforo Creek provides access to the beach, but be cautious if you try to walk across it because it is occasionally connected all the way to the ocean, making it difficult for Petzooie to traverse. Pet owners seeking for a stroll along the ocean might check out the Junge Ranch Track, which allows leashed dogs on a 2.2-mile back trail lined with wildflowers. Petzooie must be kept on a leash outside of these areas and is not permitted on the trails or beaches. Every day of the week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Hearst San Simeon State Park is open.

At this Lodi dog park, your pet will enjoy romping and playing off-leash, but be warned that there is no fencing. There are restrooms nearby.
