The Alpine Pedal Path connects all of the beaches along Highway 38 in Big Bear Lake that are dog friendly.

For your pet's enjoyment, Alice's Dog Park at Vina Vieja Park offers 2.5 acres of herbicide-free grassland. It is open from sunrise to sunset. The only conditions are that the dogs be current on their vaccinations and have a current license. It is also the responsibility of the owner to clean up after their dog. Water stations for humans and dogs, pop bag dispensers, shade trees, seats, tiny mounds, separate spaces for large and little dogs, and a 52-spot parking lot are among the amenities.

Barker Valley Trail is a dog-friendly, relatively easy 7.5 mile hike in Cleveland National Forest in Palomar Mountain, CA, that will take Petzooie around 4 hours to complete. You will descend on the way in and then ascend on the way out on this track. Because of the gradual gradient, an inverse hike that isn't completely strenuous is possible. It's crucial to have plenty of water because the path may get hot at any time of year. At a position 6.5 miles northwest of Warner Springs, take Highway 79 west (mile 41.9 according to the roadside mileage markers). Continue 7.8 miles up Palomar Divide Road, which is partly gravel, to the Barker Valley Spur trailhead on the left (west) side.This route may be closed during and after inclement weather. You must also display a National Forest Adventure Pass on your parked car because the trailhead and hiking route are located within national forest land.

This dog park, which is part of Bijou Community Park, has off-leash spaces for both small and large dogs. It is around 38,000 square feet of canine and human entertainment. The dog park offers grass spaces, plenty of shade, chairs for lounging, pet hygiene stations, and water, making it a perfect spot for people and dogs to socialize.

The dog-friendly Marian Bear Memorial Park in San Diego has plenty of open spaces for Petzooie to run around in. San Clemente Canyon Park provides a natural setting in the midst of a bustling metropolitan region. Along the length of the canyon, there are almost three miles of largely flat pathways. Trails in some of the finger canyons leading up to the mesa tops offer more difficult trekking. Parking and picnic areas with restrooms are accessible at the park's main entrances on Genesee Avenue and Regents Road.

Fashion Island, which overlooks the ocean, offers unique shopping and dining in a coastal resort setting. In the common areas of Fashion Island, dogs are welcome. Dogs are not permitted in the food court or on the grassy areas of Fashion Island, and individual retailers must decide whether or not to allow dogs inside.

At Crissy Field in San Francisco, CA, your dog will enjoy strolling down the pet-friendly promenade, catching a frisbee in the grassy field, and playing in the sand and waves at the dedicated off-leash beach, which includes a doggy water fountain and washing station.

Chollas Lake Recreation Facility in San Diego, CA, is a gorgeous, dog-friendly lakeside recreation area that offers views of the quiet water and local wildlife as you exercise.
