The Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden (MEMBG) is a free-to-the-public 7-acre public garden on the UCLA campus. Dogs must be on a leash. This garden, which is located on the picturesque campus of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), houses one of the country's most important living botanical collections, with plant specimens from all over the world.

The Grove is the perfect entertainment destination, with shopping, dining, and entertainment in a pet-friendly (and child-friendly) environment. Check out the nearby park and old farmers market as well!

Many of the outdoor areas of the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum are dog-friendly. Visitors can learn about Los Angeles between 11,000 and 40,000 years ago, when saber-toothed cats and mammoths roamed the Los Angeles Basin during the last Ice Age.

Hike with your dog along the East Sepulveda Fire Road in Getty View Park for a 3-mile out-and-back stroll while admiring the stunning vistas of Santa Monica Bay and the Getty Museum.

Dogs are welcome in Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in Los Angeles, California. Petzooie is welcome to accompany you on the park's five kilometers of paths. In addition to native coastal sage scrub habitat, the recreation area features grass and groomed areas, picnic sites, playgrounds, a fishing lake, and a lotus pond. Dogs are allowed in County parks and on trails as long as they are on a leash that is no longer than 6 feet long and under the owner's complete supervision.

Spend the day with Petzooie at Franklin Canyon Park, which spans 605 acres. A 2.5-mile round trip hike takes you around Franklin Canyon Lake and Heavenly Pond, as well as up the Chaparral Trail. The height gain of 325 feet leads to spectacular views of Franklin Canyon.
