Dog Park Locations

In the Vasquez Rocks Natural Area, the Vasquez Rocks Trail is a one-mile easy stroll that takes about an hour to complete with Petzooie. The San Andreas Fault is to blame for the rock that protrudes from the ground at such an incredible angle. They've appeared in films like Star Trek and Austin Powers, and you might remember them.

Petzooie can run off-leash in Bayfront Park Mill Valley Dog Park, which is a non-fenced area within Bayfront Park in Mill Valley, CA. There are benches, picnic tables, and a big grassy space in the park.

At Andrew Molera State Park, dogs are welcome to accompany you to the picnic areas, campgrounds, and paved roads throughout the park, but not on the trails. The site, which is located on California's magnificent Big Sur coast, was donated by the previous owner, Frances Molera, who wanted it to be used and conserved by the public. From half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after dusk, the park is open.

This 55-acre public park with sports fields, swimming, picnic areas, and paths attracts dog walkers. At Edward Vincent Park, dogs must be on a leash.

This 2-acre park features an open grass field, picnic spaces, a children's playground, and restrooms. There are two sections, one for large dogs and the other for dogs weighing less than 30 pounds. The dog park areas feature gravel ground, which is ideal for wet weather. In the evening, there are various benches that provide shade.

Brengle Terrace Park in Vista, California, is a dog-friendly park where Petzooie is accepted on a leash. Basketball and volleyball courts, a BBQ, picnic tables, a botanical garden, disc golf, and children's playgrounds are all available in this park. In addition, there is a recreation center nearby.

Shoreline Village is a dog-friendly waterfront retail, dining, and entertainment facility overlooking Long Beach's beautiful Rainbow Harbor. You and your dog can go for a walk and see the sights of Long Beach from a nearby lighthouse. Shoreline Village is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day.

The San Luis Rey Bike Trail in Oceanside, California, is a dog-friendly trail that also accepts cyclists and walkers. Dogs must be kept on a leash that is no longer than 6 feet in length. The trail is largely flat and paved, with many entry sites, most of which are where the road meets the path. It's a well-kept trail, but it's not lit, so be visible at night.
