Markley Creek Dog Park

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to develop a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Black Diamond Mines Regional Perserve, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Antioch! The parking location shown on the map below provides easy access to the Black Diamond Mines Regional Perserve.

The Highlands Ranch Dog Park in Pittsburg, California, is an outdoor facility where dogs can exercise and socialize. Dog Parks, unlike other Contra Costa County public parks, allow dogs to be off-leash. The Dog Park not only provides wide spaces for exercise, but it also allows canines to mingle with one another.

Clayton Dog Park is a small park with benches, trees, water, and picnic tables.

Take a leash-free stroll through this wonderful park, or let your dog run free in the fenced-in off-leash dog park. Bring plenty of water with you.

King Park Dog Park in Brentwood, California, has two fantastic dog play areas, one for tiny dogs and the other for larger dogs. Both areas have specially designed play equipment for animal buddies. People can sit on chairs and relax while watching their pets play in the fenced-in play areas. Water fountains for humans and dogs are also available.

This lovely park is designated as open space and features a 2.5-acre fenced-in dog exercise facility, tiny picnic spaces, and 63 acres of gorgeous hiking trails. Paso Nogal Park and open area has eight entrances. Paso Nogal Road serves as the major entrance. Kiki Road, Boies Drive, Gail Drive, Odin Drive, Morello Avenue, and Paso Nogal Court are among the others. Taylor Boulevard to the south, Morello Avenue to the east, and Paso Nogal Road to the north define the park and open space area.
