Dog Park Locations

Pershing Square, in the center of Downtown Los Angeles, hosts a range of community activities and is also a popular filming location for television series and movies. At this hidden treasure of a public park with a water pool and fountain, leashed pets are welcome to join you.

The Solvang Trolley, commonly known as The Honen ("The Hen" in Danish), provides horse-drawn carriage services for practically any occasion. The Solvang Trolley, also known as the Honen, picks up passengers outside the Visitor's Center on Copenhagen and Second Streets on a regular basis and takes them on a 25-minute tour of Solvang's Downtown Area. On a recreation of an 1800s Danish streetcar, passengers experience the town's architecture and attractions.Tour guides inform guests about Solvang's history, explain the origins and significance of many landmarks and buildings, and provide Danish folk tales and cultural comments. They also provide information on local activities and other facts about the area. It is drawn by two muscular Belgian Draft horses who are always friendly. Most pets are welcome on both modes of transportation, however larger dogs will be more comfortable on the trolley.

The Ten Mile Beach Trail (MacKerricher Haul Road Trail) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a statewide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Fort Bragg! Pets are permitted to play off-leash in the undeveloped portions of this gorgeous regional park, or they can be leashed for a walk along the lovely paved canyon paths.

At this Oakland public park, you may go for a jog or simply lounge and relax with your on-leash pet.

The 1.3-acre dog park is adjacent to the multi-use fields near the back of Central Park. There is a separate area for tiny dogs and a separate area for larger dogs at this off-leash dog park. The time frame is from daybreak to dark.

Mission Peak Regional Park in Fremont, California, is a beautiful, dog-friendly park with various pathways winding through hills dotted with wildflowers and birds. On-leash pets are welcome to join you.

On this 6.5-mile track, you may hike with your dog to the Hollywood sign. This walk passes through Griffith Park and ascends Mount Lee, offering spectacular views of the iconic sign and the city below.
