The Largest Independent Record Store in the World! Amoeba Music launched its largest store yet on Sunset Boulevard in downtown Hollywood in November 2001. This store, which takes up a whole city block, houses the largest, broadest, and most eclectic collection of music and movies ever seen in one location. Our two retail floors, as well as our Jazz room, have millions of new and used CD, DVD, and vinyl titles, and our stock changes as quickly as our customers bring in their old collections. At Amoeba Music, dogs are always welcome!

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Tiburon Linear Park, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. Previously a disused railroad line, this "rail-trail" near Belvedere Tiburon is now an excellent spot to walk Petzooie! The map below shows a parking location near the Tiburon Linear Park with easy access.

Bring your dog to this gated Tracy dog park, which has benches and shady areas where they may play off-leash.

The dog-friendly Cody Kelly Bark Park in Visalia, CA, is located next to Plaza Park and offers lots of space for Petzooie to run about off-leash. It also features a separate little dog area, chairs for owners, running water, and shade trees.

The 1.25-acre Sherwood Dog Park features perimeter fencing, separate sections for little and large dogs, recycled wood chip ground cover, a pool area, a shade structure, picnic tables, park seats, and ADA accessible entrances and walkways.

On the dog-friendly outdoor terrace at Saucelito Canyon Vineyards, enjoy cheese, crackers, meats, chocolate, and great wine. Wines produced in a dry-farmed vineyard.

Pets are welcome in Otay Ranch Town Center. This dog-friendly mall provides fresh water bowls outside of select retailers and even has a canine park adjacent to REI. It's a conveniently located outdoor mall with plenty of parking.

This enclosed dog park features grassy and wood chipped sections, as well as drinking water and picnic tables, where pets can run and play off-leash.

At this park, dogs are allowed to be off leash as long as they are under voice control. Training is also permitted, although it necessitates the acquisition of a special authorization.

The bike and boat rental shop Catch a Canoe & Bicycles Too in Mendocino, CA, welcomes on-leash pets with reasonable rates and a pleasant staff. They even have dog lifejackets! Boat rentals start at $35 per person for up to three hours and $50 per person for more than three hours at the shop, which is open every day. Children between the ages of 6 and 17 pay $15 for up to three hours and $20 for more than three hours. Dogs and children under the age of six are free. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, guided tours are also available.
