The Largest Independent Record Store in the World! Amoeba Music launched its largest store yet on Sunset Boulevard in downtown Hollywood in November 2001. This store, which takes up a whole city block, houses the largest, broadest, and most eclectic collection of music and movies ever seen in one location. Our two retail floors, as well as our Jazz room, have millions of new and used CD, DVD, and vinyl titles, and our stock changes as quickly as our customers bring in their old collections.
