The Largest Independent Record Store in the World! Amoeba Music launched its largest store yet on Sunset Boulevard in downtown Hollywood in November 2001. This store, which takes up a whole city block, houses the largest, broadest, and most eclectic collection of music and movies ever seen in one location. Our two retail floors, as well as our Jazz room, have millions of new and used CD, DVD, and vinyl titles, and our stock changes as quickly as our customers bring in their old collections. Mount Hollywood Trail is a 3-mile easy hike in Griffith Park that takes about 1.5 hours with Petzooie to complete. The city owns this area of the mountain, which gives some of the best views of the Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles Basin. You'll also like the landscape as you gaze out over the San Gabriels or out to sea. Just remember to keep Petzooie on a leash and clean up any pet messes during the hike. The Griffith Observatory or the Ferndell Route in Los Feliz are both good places to park to access the trail.

This enclosed dog park, which includes a separate section for smaller pets, is ideal for off-leash play for your pet. Every Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., the Dog Park closes for routine maintenance.

You and your leashed pet can trek the Griffith Observatory Loop from Griffith Park to get even closer to the renowned Hollywood sign than Lake Hollywood Park. This climb is popular with visitors and locals alike because it offers spectacular views of the Hollywood sign and the LA Basin. Bronson Canyon in Griffith Park is a 6.5-mile, 3-hour hike. Because the dog-friendly walk is primarily along fire roads that aren't well-marked, it's a good idea to study a map ahead of time.

Hollyridge Trail is one of many routes in Griffith Park that lead to the famous Hollywood sign. Hike this 3.5-mile trek to the peak of Mount Lee with your favorite animal buddy for stunning views of the sign and the city below.

Locals bring their dogs to the pet-friendly Lake Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, CA, for recreation and socialization under the Hollywood sign. Dogs must be kept on a leash, according to signage, and rangers are on the lookout to enforce the restrictions.
