Van Sickle Bi-State Park welcomes dogs. Dogs and their owners can enjoy a variety of simple to moderate trails. Many of them lead to stunning views of North America's largest alpine lake and its surrounding peaks. The hours of operation for this park change depending on the season. Call ahead to be sure they'll be open when you arrive. Pedestrians can use the area from sunrise to sunset all year, and automobiles can use it from May 1 to October 31, sunrise to sunset. Pets are allowed, but they must be kept on a leash no more than six feet long and any mess must be cleaned up after them.

Paddle around Lake Tahoe with your dog and enjoy the crystal clear waters, snow-capped mountains, and breathtaking scenery! Reservations are necessary. Pets are only permitted on a few tours.
6. U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit
Dogs on leashes are permitted at the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. Many dogs enjoy playing in the snow, and fit dogs will enjoy accompanying you on short cross-country or snowshoeing excursions. Dogs must be kept on a 6-foot leash and wear identity tags.

Dogs are allowed at the campground, picnic areas, and on the paved roads at D. They are permitted on the beaches and dirt pathways of L. Bliss State Park, but not on the beaches. South Lake Tahoe attracts visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy the crystal clear waters in the summer and the snow-capped mountains in the winter. Keep in mind that you must keep Petzooie on a leash no more than six feet long for the length of your visit to the park. D. L. Bliss State Park is open every day from sunrise to dusk.

The campground at Emerald Bay State Park only permits dogs on a 6-foot leash. Pets are not permitted on the trails, the roads leading to Emerald Bay, or the beach. The lake is recognized for its natural beauty, with a number of small islands dotting the water and the adjacent South Lake Tahoe area's tree-lined mountains. Emerald Bay State Park is open every day from sunrise to dusk.
10. Bijou Dog Park
This dog park, which is part of Bijou Community Park, has off-leash spaces for both small and large dogs. It is around 38,000 square feet of canine and human entertainment. The dog park offers grass spaces, plenty of shade, chairs for lounging, pet hygiene stations, and water, making it a perfect spot for people and dogs to socialize.
