Many of them lead to stunning views of North America's largest alpine lake and its surrounding peaks. The hours of operation for this park change depending on the season. Call ahead to be sure they'll be open when you arrive. Pedestrians can use the area from sunrise to sunset all year, and automobiles can use it from May 1 to October 31, sunrise to sunset. Pets are allowed, but they must be kept on a leash no more than six feet long and any mess must be cleaned up after them.
