Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, Arizona welcomes leashed dogs and their owners. The park is a large area with a variety of attractions and activities to select from. Stroll around the 2,000-square-foot butterfly garden, which features over forty different plant species and was established as a Girl Scout Gold Award project by a lifelong Chandler resident. The garden is a Monarch way station, where Monarch butterflies come to nest and dine, and it is littered with instructional signs regarding the butterfly's life cycle. Human children can enjoy Playtopia, a 2.5-acre playground and picnic area, while their parents prepare a picnic supper for the entire family.

Charron Vineyards is a tiny family-owned winery located less than 30 minutes from downtown Tucson that produces handcrafted Arizona wines. Charron Vineyards was founded in 1995 and produces a variety of unique wines, including the award-winning White Merlot. The grapes benefit from a milder environment and fresh mountain air at 4200 feet, which helps them produce award-winning wines. Visit one of Arizona's oldest vineyards, where you may try a wide range of Arizona wines in the glass-enclosed tasting room or on the wine deck, which is surrounded by mature grape vines and spectacular mountain vistas. This incredibly lovely public park welcomes leashed pets. Take a trek out into the desert to a desert waterfall. This is Maricopa County's largest regional park, with about 30,000 acres. The rugged and magnificent White Tank Mountains on the Valley's west side make up the majority of the park.

An off-leash dog area is located approximately north of the west parking lot and south of the softball complex at Sahuaro Ranch Park, 63rd Avenue and Mountain View Road. This is a fantastic place to bring the pup for a doggy play day, with a small dog park, drinking fountains, trash stations, and some dog agility equipment. On Tuesdays, this dog park is closed.

This well-kept dog park is a terrific location for your pet to run about and play off-leash. The area northeast of the softball complex at Foothills Park, 57th Avenue and Union Hills Drive, is accessible from the Foothills Library parking lot. The use of two independent spaces is rotated on a monthly basis. Each half of the park has distinct spaces for large and small dogs, including grass, shade, water, and benches, as well as signs indicating which side is 'open.' Within the east side region, there is an agility course. On Wednesdays, this dog park is closed for maintenance.
