This one-acre facility, named after Ivan, a TPD police dog who died in the line of duty, has two distinct areas for large and small dogs. The area is enclosed and features a concrete inner walking path, dog-friendly drinking fountains, benches, trees and bushes, landscape irrigation, decomposed granite, boulders, and solar lighting.

Kartchner Caverns State Park in Benson, Arizona, is a dog-friendly state park and trail that has a cave with nearly 2 miles of tunnels. Cave excursions, RV sites, tent camping, cabin camping, and subterranean exploring are all available. Your leashed dog is welcome to accompany you around the park's perimeter, but they are not permitted inside any of the structures or on the cave excursions. Pets may not be left unattended outside or in vehicles in the parking lot; people who break this regulation may incur a citation and a fee.

Your dog can play at a 2-acre off-leash dog park provided by Quail Creek-Veterans Municipal.

In some places of Saguaro National Park, leashed dogs are permitted. The city of Tucson divides Saguaro into two districts. Dogs are not allowed on trails, off-road, or inside visitors centers, according to the park's website. "Pets are allowed only on roadways, picnic spots (excluding Mam-A-Gah picnic area in the Tucson Mountain District-west), and paved trails (Desert Ecology Trail & Desert Discovery Trail)." Dog owners should keep their pets on a six-foot leash and keep an eye out for cactus spines, prickly bushes, snakes, exposed mine shafts, scorpions, and heat stroke. The cost of a weekly pass is $25 per vehicle.

Sahuarita Lake Park is a 15-acre park featuring grassy sections and a lakeside pathway. Please keep in mind that dogs must be kept on a leash and are not permitted to swim in the lake. From sunrise to sunset, the park is open.

Your dog will be ecstatic to be allowed to accompany you on a leash around this incredible aviation and space museum, which houses over 400 planes and spacecraft. At the museum, dogs are welcome. Although dogs are not permitted on the AMARG or tram tours, they are welcome to accompany you on the tour.
