Since its inception, volunteers have been the heart and soul of Dogwood Animal Shelter. A tiny structure was built by group of committed individuals through sales and auctions, and the desperately needed shelter was incorporated as a 501(c)3 in 1976.

A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Lucky K9 Rescue, Inc. According to IRS regulations, all donations are tax deductible. We are a foster-based organization run entirely by volunteers. All donations benefit the pets under our care.
