Dog Park Locations

Ward Canyon Dog Park is an off-leash area of Ward Canyon Park in San Diego, California, with two gated cages on tumbling wood chipping areas: one for tiny dogs and one for large or all dogs. Pergolas, park benches, and a parking space are also available. The park is open seven days a week from dawn to dark.

There are several pet-friendly sites to enjoy at Sonoma Coast State Park. At this popular state park, broad sandy beaches extend out along a gorgeous coastline of natural arches and quiet coves. Although dogs are not permitted on Goat Rock Beach, your leashed companion can accompany you to Blind Beach, which is located off the south parking lot at Goat Rock. This natural environment in Goleta will enthrall your pet. On-leash dogs are accepted at all times, while the park does have dedicated off-leash hours.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Fay Avenue Bike Path, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once a disused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie on-leash in La Jolla! Holbrook Palmer Park welcomes pets. This family-friendly Atherton public park welcomes leashed dogs. Owners of dogs are reminded to tidy up after their pets. From sunrise to sunset, Holbrook Palmer Park is open to the public.

Wilacre Park is a popular location for hikers and dog walkers, especially on weekends, thanks to its huge parking lot, restrooms, drinking fountains, and picnic area, as well as its easy accessible by vehicle or MTA bus.

K-9 Corner Dog Park offers a one-of-a-kind design that is environmentally friendly, with drought-tolerant vegetation and solar energy generating 100% of the park's electricity. Water fountains for humans and dogs, seating, evening lighting, and separate sections for large and little dogs are all available in the park.

The West County & Rodota Trails are part of a countrywide network of 1600 rail-trails maintained by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from old rail lines and connecting corridors.
