361. Shark Fin Cove

Shark Fin Cove welcomes pets. When you arrive, park in the little parking lot off Highway 1 and go down the left-hand route. Take the trail to the right for a magnificent sunset walk with your dog along the cliffs. Please keep in mind that dogs are permitted on the walk but not on the beach.

Eberle Winery is dog-friendly, offering free wine tastings and public tours of its production facility and 16,000 square feet of underground wine caves. During their visit, dogs must be kept on a leash. The Winery has a magnificent deck that overlooks the estate vineyard's 38 acres and the Santa Lucia Mountains. While their owner plays bocce ball and cornhole, Petzooie can watch. Eberle offers high-end white and red wines.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Sacramento River Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Redding! The trailhead for the Sacramento River Trail is shown on the map below.

368. Mount Islip Trail

Mount Islip Trail is a 5.5-mile moderately easy climb in the Angeles National Forest that will take Petzooie about 2.5 hours to accomplish. This trail permits folks who don't have much time to get to the top of a significant peak to accomplish so. The mountain is named after George Islip, a homesteader who is said to have spent a lot of time at the peak.

Salt Point State Park's campgrounds and picnic areas are dog-friendly. Beautiful panoramic vistas, coves, open meadows, woodlands, and prairies are all part of the park's appeal. When out and about, Petzooie must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet long and must sleep inside your tent or vehicle at night. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Salt Point State Park is open.
