The Foothills Village is a small community in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The City of Sierra Madre, located halfway between Pasadena and Arcadia, is made up of three square miles of tranquil neighborhoods and green space. In February of 2020, the long-awaited Fletcher Fetch Park broke ground. The grand opening was celebrated on Saturday, October 3 with the support of the community, various gifts, and the city's hard work.

Alice's Dog Park is located on East Orange Grove, a few blocks east of Sierra Madre Blvd., and is part of Via Vieja Park. It has a grassy space for large dogs of 212 acres and a grassy area for small and special-needs dogs of one acre. Both areas feature double-gated entrances, countered hills, trees, benches, water, and plenty of room for your greatest friend to run and play. It's open every day from sunrise to sunset, except Tuesdays when it's closed for maintenance.

This lovely park is designated as open space and features a 2.5-acre fenced-in dog exercise facility, tiny picnic spaces, and 63 acres of gorgeous hiking trails.
Paso Nogal Park and open area has eight entrances. Paso Nogal Road serves as the major entrance. Kiki Road, Boies Drive, Gail Drive, Odin Drive, Morello Avenue, and Paso Nogal Court are among the others.
Taylor Boulevard to the south, Morello Avenue to the east, and Paso Nogal Road to the north define the park and open space area.

The Discovery Bay Community Services District assumed responsible for maintaining the "Common" landscape areas/parks inside the "Discovery Bay Proper Area-Service Area M-8," which is now known as Discovery Bay Lighting & Landscaping Zone #8.

The Clayton Dog Park was created as a result of a collaboration between the Clayton K-9 Coalition and the City of Clayton. The current dog park site was approved by the city, and fences, benches, a table, and waste receptacles were installed. The Clayton K-9 Coalition was formed by a group of local residents who donated the finances needed to give water to the park, and an Eagle Scout Project constructed an arbor shade structure over the picnic table.

The California State Railroad Museum does not allow dogs inside, but Petzooie can accompany you on the paved track and assist you in exploring the vintage locomotives outside. They are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week.
360. Sacramento Northern Bike Trail
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Rio Linda! A parking lot with easy access to the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail is shown on the map below.
