Dog Park Locations

Your pet will enjoy a stroll down this beautiful Santa Cruz beach, where they are permitted to join you as long as they stay on a leash.

This gorgeous beach, located about 5 minutes south of Santa Barbara, welcomes horses and dogs. In the surf, porpoises and seals dance, and it's never crowded. There is parking at both ends of the beach.

Montevalle Dog Park has a fenced dog run with grass, a separate little dog area, doggie water fountains, and a waste station where pets can go off-leash.

Bass Pro Shops is a pet-friendly outdoor store that sells fishing, camping, boating, hunting, and clothing.

570 acres of calm natural spaces make up this hidden treasure of a public park. A fantastic area to take your dog for a leash stroll! A bike route, hiking trail, horseshoe pits, jogging path, and facilities are all available in the park.

The off-leash dog area at Lands End Beach is not gated. Keep an eye out for signage indicating which locations necessitate the usage of a leash.

Between Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach, Rip Van Winkle Open Space is a dog-friendly location. The park above Asilomar State Beach is open at all times. In the parking lot, dog poop bags are available for free.

As long as your dog is under your care, Dillon Beach is a dog-friendly beach. Parking in the lot costs money from sunrise to dusk.

Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve is a dog-friendly park in Redwood City, California. Take your dog for an on-leash hike through this large, lovely nature preserve, or let them run free in the 17.5-acre area in the preserve's center, accessible from the Cordilleras Trail, Polly Geraci/Hassler Trails, and the Blue Oak Trail. The park is fenced and signs are posted at the gates, however there is no fencing surrounding the off-leash area. Outside of the off-leash area, dogs must be on a leash.

Dog owners are responsible for their pets and must keep Petzooie on a leash or in an approved carrier at all times while on board the dog-friendly, one-hour Bay Cruise Adventure and the "Escape from the Rock" tours, which take in gorgeous views of the bridges, piers, and Alcatraz in San Francisco, CA. Failure to do so will result in dismissal. It is important to know that animals are not permitted on Angel Island.
