Mission Trails Regional Park in La Mesa, California, is a dog-friendly park with a fantastic area for a leashed stroll around the lake. The squirrels and ducks will captivate them. Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park, a gorgeous 710-acre park located at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains near La Quinta, CA, welcomes leashed dogs. Lake Cahuilla is surrounded by expansive lawns and picturesque mountain tops, making it a spectacular destination. At all times, dogs must be restrained by a 6-foot leash. Because it is a reservoir, dogs are not permitted in the water.

Iron Mountain Trail is a 5.75-mile dog-friendly, moderately easy trek in Poway, CA that will take Petzooie around 2.5 hours to accomplish. This is a well-traveled and well-marked trail. If your dog is familiar to trails, he should be OK on his paws; if not, you should gradually introduce him to them. On the same trail, there is a shorter journey to the Ramona overlook.

Marina (Schoonover) Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Marina, California, divided into two sections by a chain link fence: one for tiny dogs and the other for all canines. At the park, there are garbage cans and pooper-scoopers for your convenience. There are also water bowls available (bring water to share).

1330. Cardiff State Beach

On the San Diego coast, Cardiff State Beach is a dog-friendly beach. Dogs are permitted in Cardiff Reef and Seaside, which are located to the south of Tower 16. All dogs must be kept on a 6-foot leash and under the custody of their owners at all times. Swimming, surfing, and beachcombing are all popular activities on the beach. The warm water lapping at the coast, and the sands softly slope into it.
