Alston Park in Napa, California, is a vast natural preserve with a fenced-in area where dogs can run free. The enclosed area includes agility equipment, a huge water pan with running water, and a double entry system to assure the safety of all dogs entering and exiting. For dogs under adequate voice control, a substantial chunk of the park is off leash. Dog waste bags, as well as several cans in which to dispose of the waste, are freely available. There is also a significant section of the park that is only open to leashed dogs.

This Yosemite National Park asphalt trailhead features a nice loop from Yosemite Valley's car park east to Camp Curry and Mirror Lake. On the first paved mile of the trail, leashed pets, cyclists, and strollers are permitted. Curry Village has plenty of parking.

At Rohr Dog Park at Rohr Park, dogs are welcome to play off-leash. On-leash dogs are also allowed inside the rest of the 59.9-acre park, which includes walking trails and open green space.

Leashed dogs are welcome to accompany you to Moorten Botanical Garden in Palm Springs, CA, which opened in 1938 and has several unusual cactus. Crystals, colorful rocks, ancient fossils, pioneer and gold mining relics, and cactus ranging in size from miniature to huge are also on display.
1285. Millerton Point at Tomales Bay State Park
Millerton Point's circle route, located on the inland side of the bay, is dog-friendly! Dogs are not allowed on the beach, however they are allowed on the circular walk as long as they are on a leash. Millerton Point is located north of Point Reyes Station at 15475 Highway 1.

Pets are welcome on the Oat Hill Mine Trail. On this lovely hike, you and your pet may take in the stunning views of California Wine Country. Pets are allowed off-leash if they are well-behaved and any messes are cleaned up. The Oat Hill Mine Trail is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the week.

Aliso Trail is a 3.25-mile moderately easy hike in Los Padres National Forest that will take Petzooie about 1.5 hours to accomplish. This is a great hike to do in the spring or fall when the weather is mild. With steep canyons and hills along the way, the trail will provide a fun challenging trip.
