Dog Park Locations

A steady audience of conscientious local dog owners uses this long, narrow park as an off-leash exercise facility.

Inflatable canoeing adventures down the Russian River are available from Russian River Adventures in Healdsburg, CA. Their inflatable canoe outings are suitable for the entire family, and you do not need to be in top physical condition to enjoy a journey down the river in one of their boats. Although the trips are not supervised, passengers are given instructions at the start of each one. When you opt to pull ashore to enjoy the many swimming holes, rope swings, and sandbars that are ideal for picnics, Petzooie can run free. You are welcome to bring food and beverages in a cooler or pay an extra cost for a Russian River Adventures boxed lunch. Reservations must be made in advance.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Los Gatos Creek Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad track, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Los Gatos! A parking lot with easy access to the Los Gatos Creek Trail is shown on the map below.

With plenty of pathways and open areas, Glen Canyon Park is a lovely spot for dogs and their humans to explore together. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

Carlson Bark Park is a well-kept off-leash dog park in Riverside, California, with a distinct little dog section, lush grass, and agility equipment. The park is surrounded by a fence.

San Juan Loop Trail is a 2-mile simple, dog-friendly hike in Cleveland National Forest that takes around an hour with Petzooie to complete. This short walk offers stunning vistas and draws large groups. This is one of the most popular paths in the Santa Ana Mountains, and it is suited for individuals of all ages and abilities.

On the trails of this gorgeous Saratoga nature area, pets are welcome on a leash. It's a terrific area to go hiking!

Laurel Canyon Dog Park is a wonderful off-leash dog park with a separate section for young dogs and a larger play area for larger dogs. Every Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the park is closed for routine maintenance.

At this sports goods store featuring gear for snowboarders, skiers, hikers, climbers, and cyclists, pets are welcome on a leash.

The Shoppes at Chino Hills features a variety of pet-friendly retailers (with 60 to select from) as well as open-air cafés. The village ambience and open-air, main street-style pedestrian layout are a soothing retreat.
