This dog park, which is located beyond the baseball fields at the very end of La Pata, has separate spaces for little and large canines. The majority of the land is grassy.

The San Clemente Pedestrian Beach Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a statewide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in San Clemente! At this coastal outdoor outlet shopping mall with more than 55 stores and cafés, dogs are welcome to walk outside. Dogs are welcome at the shopping complex, which includes pet stations and complimentary snacks from Customer Service. The Outlets at San Clemente is easily accessible from the I-5 motorway, which connects Los Angeles and San Diego.

Leashed dogs are allowed on the paths of San Onofre State Beach in San Clemente, CA, so you and Petzooie can enjoy some coastal hiking, but dogs are not allowed on the beach or inside facilities.
