Main Street Park, also known as the "triangle green spot next to the old Redwood Roller Rink," was a small, underutilized pocket park in desperate need of redevelopment. Simultaneously, we were looking for a place for dogs to play, as this had been a long-standing community request. Because the amount of additional open space available for a project like this is limited, these two concerns appeared simple to combine into a solution.
