You and your dog will find lots of dog-friendly hiking paths to enjoy at Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, AZ, with a choice of trails to select from, several of which lead into the Superstition Wilderness. The marketplace is dominated by major chain retailers, including a PetSmart, which offers all of the necessities for Petzooie. There is a splash pad for humans to cool down in the Arizona heat, and live music is performed every Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Because this is an outdoor mall, it may become extremely hot, so avoid visiting during the hottest hours of the day.Dogs are welcome in the marketplace, but they must be on a leash that is no longer than six feet long, and individual shops determine whether or not dogs are permitted inside.

Cattail Cove State Park in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, offers more than 2,000 acres of dog-friendly natural wonderland for you and your dog to relax, walk, bird-watch, enjoy the dog park, or have a picnic. On the paths, Fido must be leashed at all times, but at the designated dog beach, he may be off-leash. Please be aware that pets are not permitted on the built beaches.

The city of Phoenix's first dog park has seats and large shade trees, ADA-accessible spaces for large and small dogs, ornamental wrought iron fencing, and chilled water faucets with integrated drinking bowls for dogs at ground level. The Iron King Trail (Prescott to Prescott Valley) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a nationwide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Fido in Prescott Valley! The trailhead for the Iron King Trail is shown on the map below (Prescott to Prescott Valley).

On the northwest corner of McQueen and Ocotillo roads is the Paseo Vista Recreation Area. It was a functional landfill for about 30 years, a vast man-made dirt mound with sloping sides towering above the streets and neighboring homes. Then Chandler made the decision to invest in this location in order to give it a new function. The slopes still dominate the landscape today, but they are now covered in decomposed granite, wildflowers, and other vegetation, as well as rocks enclosed in wire to help limit erosion. From the streets below, the majority of the amenities, such as an archery range, disc golf course, dog park, playground, picnic sites, and more than a mile of walking paths, are not visible.Residents of Chandler who take the worthwhile walk, ride, or drive to the top of the hill, on the other hand, will be able to appreciate and enjoy the Paseo Vista Recreation Area for many years.

The Petrified Forest National Park offers a look into ancient history. Hike one of the many paths, take in the views from picturesque overlooks, or go hiking in the woods with your best buddy. When pets are outside of a vehicle, they must be leashed. Except for buildings and areas closed to the public, they are allowed in all areas of the park. Pets are not allowed to contact with wildlife or inspect deceased animals, nests, or burrows, according to park officials.

The 1.2 million square feet of retail space at the Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix, Arizona, has something for everyone. A splash pad and playground are available for human children. There is a PetSmart for the furry ones. Every Friday and Saturday night, beginning at 7:00 p.m., Marketplace hosts live music. Dogs are welcome in the market, but they must be leashed, and individual retailers and restaurants have their own laws regarding whether or not dogs are permitted inside.
