At state parks and campgrounds, pets must be leashed and accompanied by their owners at all times; unleashed dogs are permitted in the wilderness but must be under voice direction. If you have a pet, please clean up after it. Within 100 feet of a cabin, sled dogs and horses should not be tied. Between a lilypad-covered lake and woodland wetlands, the Birch Lake SRA is located. In the summer, fishermen, jet skiers, and water skiers frequent the lake, while in the winter, snowmachiners and ice fishermen frequent it. Rainbow trout, king and silver salmon, grayling, and arctic char are among the supplied species that provide good fishing throughout the year.
52. Beaver Creek Wild and Scenic River
Beaver Creek Wild and Scenic River in Alaska is a beautiful dog-friendly site. The White Mountains, made up of white limestone rock formations, swoop down on both sides of Beaver Creek. Hike atop the mountains or explore one of the routes that lead closer to the brook. To get to the river, all you have to do is hike a limestone ridge and try not to catch your breath while you take in the breathtaking scenery. Camping is available at one of the many gravel bars along the river, and if Fido is up to it, you can join one of the river's floating groups.

Worthington Glacier State Recreation Site is a popular stop along the Richardson Highway at Thompson Pass, 28 miles north of Valdez, which allows visitors to see a glacier. A paved trail goes from the parking area to a viewing platform just a short distance from the glacier's toe. The short but steep Glacier Ridge Trail is ideal for experienced hikers. There are also more trails and a picnic spot. This 113-acre park is open throughout the summer months.

Highway passengers and weekend campers from Fairbanks frequent the Upper Chatanika State Recreation Site, which is located at mile 39 on the Steese Highway. There are 24 campsites, four picnic areas, drinking water, and latrines on the property.A gravel bar is accessible through a road where people can camp, eat, sunbathe, or fish. Canoeists and rafters launch their boats here for an all-day float down the Chatanika River, which ends at the Lower Chatanika State Recreational Area, which is located at mile 11 on the Elliott Highway.

If you have a pet, please clean up after it. Within 100 feet of a cabin, sled dogs and horses should not be tied. The site is located on the Alaska Highway at mile 1309, 4.5 miles east of Tok. There are 43 campsites available, with ten of them capable of accommodating motorhomes up to 60 feet in length. A picnic shelter, drinking water, a walking track, a telephone, and latrines are among the amenities.
57. Alaska Railroad
The Alaska Railroad welcomes pets. The main line of the Alaska Railroad runs 470 miles from Seward to Fairbanks, linking settlements throughout Southcentral and Interior Alaska. The Alaska Railroad runs all year, with seasonal schedules varying: the busy summer season runs from mid-May to mid-September, while the quieter winter timetable runs from mid-September to mid-May. Pets are only allowed onboard in the baggage compartment and must be in a kennel that has been certified by the airline. When disembarking at the Spencer Glacier Whistle Stop, kennels can be left adjacent to the train and picked up when you return.

This holiday-themed village, located 20 minutes from Fairbanks, lets you and your dog to roam the grounds outside. Although dogs are not permitted inside, don't miss the photo opportunities with the Christmas-themed building, Santa's sled, and the 42-foot-tall World's Largest Santa! The front of the building is decorated with murals and interesting display windows, and next door to St. Nick's workshop is Antler Academy, where your fur child can get a good look at the resident reindeer from a safe distance. There is no charge to visit this winter wonderland.

The North Pole Dog Park is a combination of two dog parks. A large gated area near to 3rd Avenue is open to all dogs, while a smaller walled area at the park's back is for smaller dogs who are not comfortable among large dogs. Waste collection facilities and picnic tables for dog owners are included at the dog park to maintain it tidy.
60. Eagle Trail State Recreation Site

A one-mile nature trail and a 2.5-mile hiking track with a view of the Tok River Valley are available to visitors to this 280-acre park. Most highway drivers will have their first taste of the Alaska Range on the Eagle Trail SRS. In the Tok Trophy Sheep Management Area, an eight-hour climb up the adjacent creek takes backpackers within close range of Dall sheep.
