Our goal is to support the community's efforts to safeguard the health, welfare, and safety of both people and animals. Promote public health and safety for Live Oak residents and their pets is the goal of Live Oak Animal Control. Animal Control is in charge of informing the public about current State Regulations and City Ordinances, as well as, when necessary, enforcing these laws. Every animal brought into the facility is subject to the care and attention of Animal Control. The animals kept here are either awaiting reunification with their missing owners or, if that is not possible, awaiting adoption into new, permanent homes.
