The Ferndale Cat Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to offering cat residents in the Metropolitan Detroit region access to medical care, adoption services, foster homes, and trap-neuter-release programs. As a no-kill group, our goal is to better the lives of cats in our neighborhood and raise the bar for cat guardianship and adoption. When she saved her first cat in 2015, founder Marie Perreault started rescuing. Her activities have since developed into Detroit Community Cat Rescue. We are a 501c3 nonprofit and the first cat-only shelter in Detroit.
