Our objective is to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and rehabilitative care for canine and feline family members to the residents of the Roaring Fork Valley. Through client education, wellness, and preventative treatment for our patients, we are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of all animals. All animals are treated as if they were our own, and clients and personnel are treated as if they are members of the family.

Willits Veterinary Hospital has been providing full-service veterinary care to the Roaring Fork Valley region since 2012. John Kuck, DVM, and his wife Kristen Kuck, CVT, founded the practice as a family affair that has since developed into a multi-doctor clinic with a complete nursing and administrative team. With the establishment of a new hospital location in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the year 2019 saw more expansion. Wellness and preventative care, pain treatment, immunizations, surgery, radiography, computed tomography, dentistry, acupuncture, and other services are all available at Willits Vet.

Dr. Carsten created Birch Tree Animal Hospital in 1988. He was able to return to his hometown in the Roaring Fork Valley after the inauguration of this office. As a graduate of Glenwood Springs High School and Colorado Mountain College, he had a long held ambition to return to the Roaring Fork Valley to raise his family.
