Grundahl Park

Grundahl Park, on Blue Mounds Street on the Village's southwest side, was built in stages during the 1980s using funds raised from the annual Summer Frolic celebration. Electric outlets, a drinking fountain, and a grill are available in the open octagon shelter, which can accommodate up to 200 people. There is also a heated, enclosed shelter with restrooms that can hold up to 50 people. Both shelters are available for reservations all year. A illuminated ball diamond, playground equipment, basketball court, sledding slope, and a community stage that hosts a summer music series are among the park's other features.

Salmo Pond County Park

Salmo Pond is a 7.5-acre county park with shoreline fishing, three handicapped fishing piers, two handicapped shore fishing stations, and picnic spots. A 3-acre lake (originally a rock quarry) with a maximum depth of 15 feet can be found there. Panfish and trout are the most common fish species. Scherbel Road, 1.5 miles west of the Village of Cross Plains and south of USH 14, leads to the park entrance.
