A half-pipe with two levels of 5' and 6' heights with an attached quarter pipe make up a 24,000 square foot skate park. A 5' spine, a 2.5' rollover with grind rails, and a variety of arced and straight grind rails and boxes round out the park.

Woodstock Park, located in the middle of Kempsville, is a diversified but comprehensive 30-acre park featuring playgrounds, a one-acre fenced dog park, and an action-packed concrete urban skate plaza that is great for family trips.

Stumpy Lake Natural Area is a 278-acre lake with a raised ADA accessible viewpoint, a 174-acre golf course, roughly 970+ acres of undeveloped, forested terrain surrounding the lake, and 1.65 miles of soft shared-use paths located near the south-central City boundary with Chesapeake.
