Olympia Dog Park

Pathways, ramps, railings, concrete paths, fenced sections, and parking stalls have all been installed in the parks. The city also advised park visitors to bring their own water and dog waste bags, as well as follow the park's stated guidelines.

Sunrise Park

Sunrise Park was designed in 1991-1992 in collaboration with the park's neighbors and the Westside Neighborhood Association. In 1995, the park was dedicated and opened. Sunrise Park is home to one of two City of Olympia Parks Community Gardens. The garden was first developed in 2007 in collaboration with GRuB, Together! , as well as the USDA. In 2011, City of Olympia Parks, Arts and Recreation took over management of the Sunrise Community Garden from GRuB and constructed 55 upgraded garden plots and a state of the art compost structure, a covered seating area and new tool shed. In March of 2012, the new Sunrise Community Garden was completed. Brand new playground was installed at the park in 2015.

Watershed Park, a 153-acre temperate rain forest public park in Olympia, Washington, supplied nearly all of the city's water in the late 1800s via privately established wells. Starting in 1917, the city purchased and operated the wells until the municipal water supply was replaced in the 1950s.
