Mount Tamalpais State Park

Petzooie can run off-leash in Bayfront Park Mill Valley Dog Park, which is a non-fenced area within Bayfront Park in Mill Valley, CA. There are benches, picnic tables, and a big grassy space in the park.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Mill Valley-Sausalito Path, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now an excellent spot to walk Petzooie. Mill Valley, to be exact! A parking lot with easy access to the Mill Valley-Sausalito Path is shown on the map below.

It's simple to spend a day with your pet at Strawberry Village! Woodlands Pet Food and Treats is one of many dog-friendly outdoor cafés and retailers in this shopping area.

This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Mill Valley! On the county beach and in picnic areas, leashed dogs are permitted, but not on the National Park Service side of the beach. Dog owners are encouraged to clean up any filth that their pets may leave behind.

On-leash pets are accepted on selected hiking trails in this lovely park, which includes spectacular waterfalls.
