Solstice Canyon includes hikes through coastal sage scrub and riparian plant ecosystems that are easy, moderate, or challenging. Picnics, a shady stroll down the Solstice Canyon Trail, or a more difficult hike up the Rising Sun Trail are all options for visitors.

Pets must be on a leash at all times. Easy, moderate, and difficult hikes through coastal sage scrub and riparian plant groupings are accessible at Solstice Canyon. Visitors can enjoy a picnic, a shady stroll along the Solstice Canyon Trail, or a more challenging hike up the Rising Sun Trail. Along the path to the annual waterfall, which is a popular hiking spot, acorn woodpeckers, alligator lizards, fence lizards, and a red-tailed hawk can be spotted. Dogs are allowed, but they must always be kept on a six-foot leash. Please ensure that your dog is cleaned up after.
