Malibu Bluffs Park is a six-acre neighborhood park with a view of the Pacific Ocean that is conveniently situated at the junction of Malibu Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway. The features include a walking track, walkways, picnic areas, a playground, soccer fields, and restrooms. Leashed pets and their owners are welcome in the park. Aside from the Michael Landon Community Center, the park has two baseball diamonds, a soccer/multipurpose field, a playground for children ages 2 to 12, a jogging trail, picnic tables, and a whale viewing station. Numerous community workshops, events, and sports leagues are held at Malibu Bluffs Park for children, teenagers, and adults. Malibu Bluffs Park is a stunning park with spectacular views of the coast where you can enjoy walking your dog, exercising your dog, and interacting with other canine companions.

Visit the magnificent 200-foot Escondido Falls on this 4-mile out-and-back trek with your dog. The terrain is steep, and there are a few creek crossings where the water can be high at times, so be sure your dog is up to the challenge before starting. At all times, dogs must be leashed.

Leashed (no longer than six feet) pets are welcome to join their humans as they hike along this trail, which is a wonderful spot to take in the changing seasons. A variety of trees make for a colorful fall and winter season. The creek that runs through the canyon flows all year, but at times can be only a trickle.
