Daisy State Park

Crater of Diamonds is a one-of-a-kind event that draws visitors from all over the world to Murfreesboro, Arkansas. It is one of the only places in the world where the public can search for actual diamonds in their natural volcanic source. Except for the gift shop area of the visitor center, the park restaurant, the water park, and the bathhouses, your pet is welcome anyplace in the park. In addition, the pet must always be under the physical control of the owner. Please DO NOT leave your pets in your vehicle (i.e. a leash that cannot be connected to a tree).

The Cossatot River State Park & Natural Area is known for its rafting, but it also has paths and interpretive programs that you and your dog can enjoy. Simply keep Petzooie leashed at all times. Along the National Wild and Scenic Cossatot River, this park-natural area stretches for 12 km. Hikers can choose from four picturesque pathways totaling over 20 miles in length.

Outside on the trails of Queen Wilhelmina State Park, which is located around Arkansas' second highest mountain, dogs are welcome. To get to this park and its magnificent location, take the Talimena National Scenic Byway. This location is as historic as it is beautiful. On-site lodging and camping are provided.

Pets are welcome in Historic Washington State Park. You are welcome to bring Petzooie to the state park's grounds, but they are not permitted inside any of the buildings on site, including the Blacksmith Shop, Weapons Museum, Print Museum, and a number of other 19th-century structures. James Bowie, Sam Houston, and Davy Crockett all famously passed through here on the Southwest Trail. During your stay, keep your pet on a leash.

Five hiking routes, ranging from simple to moderate, are available at DeGray Lake Resort State Park for you to enjoy a day in nature with your four-legged companion. Just remember to keep Petzooie on a leash.
