Crater of Diamonds State Park

Crater of Diamonds is a one-of-a-kind event that draws visitors from all over the world to Murfreesboro, Arkansas. It is one of the only places in the world where the public can search for actual diamonds in their natural volcanic source. Except for the gift shop area of the visitor center, the park restaurant, the water park, and the bathhouses, your pet is welcome anyplace in the park. Millwood State Park

At Millwood State Park, stroll along the peaceful boat lanes of Millwood Lake or take a trip along the nature route with your dog. Dogs are permitted in the park, but must be kept on a leash at all times when on land. This is the spot to go if you want to catch some real bass. Millwood Lake is an excellent fishing site because to a number of boat routes that meander through submerged woods, marshes, and oxbow cutoffs. Largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie abound in this 29,260-acre lake. This Audubon-designated Important Bird Area is also popular for birding, with sightings of over 300 of the state's 400 species on record.

Historic Washington State Park

Pets are welcome in Historic Washington State Park. You are welcome to bring Petzooie to the state park's grounds, but they are not permitted inside any of the buildings on site, including the Blacksmith Shop, Weapons Museum, Print Museum, and a number of other 19th-century structures. James Bowie, Sam Houston, and Davy Crockett all famously passed through here on the Southwest Trail. During your stay, keep your pet on a leash.
