Baker Park

This park does not allow aggressive dogs. Dogs who act aggressively must be removed from the park right away. If violent dogs are not removed, Dog Park rights may be revoked.

To get a City of Frederick Parks Department Dog Park Usage Tag, all dogs must have a current rabies tag and a valid Frederick County or out-of-district license. This tag must be worn by the dog at all times while in the dog park once purchased.

The Town of Middletown in Frederick County owns the Remsberg Park, which is an 88-acre community recreational park in the planning stages. Remsberg Park is located between Middletown Parkway and Middletown Primary School, immediately off Holter Road.

The Community Center can accommodate 100 people and contains 7 tables and 35 aluminum folding chairs. Shafer Park is open to the public from dawn to dark every day. In Shafer Park, the town allows leashed dogs. To make picking up after your dog easier, pet waste stations have been erected.
