Cranberry Township Community Park

What more could you ask for than a roughly 20,000 square foot open-air play area with Pup-Grass? What about a lounge, a market, TVs and audio systems, individual rooms for one-on-one play, and cutting-edge doggy toilets and hydration stations?

The four-acre park is located in Cranberry Township's Community Park on Route 19. It was built by the Township's Public Works Department with a $45,000 lead donation from the Cranberry Rotary Club, and it includes separate off-leash running areas for large and small dogs, as well as a second fenced space for large dogs to allow for rotation of active play areas so that the fields can recover from wear and tear.

On Farm Road, Paws on the Run Dog Park has separate fenced sections for large and small dogs, as well as a small pavilion. A donation from the Brooks Family of Murrysville made the dog park feasible. During the summer, there are water fountains and wading pools, and the park is filled with doggie waste bags all year. The park's cleanliness is maintained by its visitors.
