You are invited to bring Petzooie along on your Bearizona Drive-Thru Wildlife Park adventure. Your dog may accompany you in your automobile for up up and personal animal viewing during the drive-thru section of the tour. During your drive, simply close all windows and doors fully. Dogs are allowed outside of automobiles in the parking lot and up to the fort wall in the Fort Bearizona walk-thru section. Dogs are not permitted in the vicinity of any animal exhibits.

One of Phoenix's most popular off-leash dog parks is PETsMART Dog Park in Washington Park. This park is fully enclosed and has separate entrances and spaces for little and large dogs, covering approximately 2.5 acres. There are also watering stations, benches, and mutt mitt dispensers on the premises. Owners must pick up after their pets and keep dogs on leashes until they enter the play area. The park may be closed after heavy rains to allow the turf to dry. The park is occasionally closed for flood irrigation throughout the year. Call for updates on the wet weather and flood irrigation closures.

Pets are welcome at Harbor Freight Tools. Small, leashed dogs are welcome to accompany their owners in their search for low-cost tools and equipment. Because they cut out the middleman and sell directly to the people who need them, the items on offer are frequently cheaper than those offered by their competitors. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., this location is open.

The Thorpe Park Bark Park is a 1.5-acre off-leash dog park with large and small dog play areas as well as agility equipment. There are also chairs and picnic tables throughout the park. Petzooie and his pals will have plenty of area to run around.

Quail Run Dog Park has separate gated sections for timid and active dogs, as well as chairs and drinking fountains for humans and their pets. The dog park is closed for cleaning on Thursdays and weekdays from 12pm to 1pm.

Slide Rock State Park is a 43-acre park in Oak Creek Canyon, just outside of Sedona, Arizona. The name of this location comes from the slick rocks that form a natural water funnel. For years, people have come to this park to swim and get a tan. Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park, but not near the creek or bathing areas. The cost of admission varies from $10 to $30 each vehicle.

In Grand Canyon National Park, pets are welcome. At all times, pets must be kept on a leash. Pets are permitted on the rim trails, Mather Campground, Desert View Campground, Trailer Village, and all constructed areas. Below the rim, in park housing (hotel rooms), or on park buses, pets are not permitted. Pets are not permitted on the North Rim, with the exception of the bridle route that connects the lodge to the North Kaibab Trail. Only at the South Rim is a kennel available.
