TA Express White Hills in White Hills has a recreation space where pets can relieve themselves during long trips. Petzooie may stretch his legs in the gated area before heading back out on the road. 23. Sky Island Scenic Byway

The Sky Island Scenic Byway welcomes pets. The only paved path to Mount Lemmon, the highest point in the Santa Catalina Range, is through this picturesque road. This meandering beautiful road, also known as the Mount Lemmon Highway and Catalina Highway Scenic Drive, is one of the most picturesque in the southwest and also one of the most diverse in a short distance. It starts in the desert and ends in the high forest, and it's only 27 miles long. As you and your dog hike high into the rocky environs, you will be rewarded with breathtaking vistas.

The Coconino National Forest's West Fork Oak Creek Trailhead is a three-mile dog-friendly, well-maintained route. The walk winds through the Oak Brook canyon, passing by many various flora for your dog to view and smell, and crossing a gorgeous creek at numerous points. If you don't keep your dog on a leash at all times, you risk getting a ticket and paying a fee. Please contact the USDA Forest Service for current trail charges and fees, as well as the current fire hazard level.

Monument Valley welcomes pets. The sandstone towers in this vast valley range in height from 400 to 1,000 feet. When the sun rises or sets over the red rock formations, it is the greatest time to visit. Dogs on leashes are allowed as long as they are cleaned up after. If you're walking in, the entrance charge is $10 per person, and if you're driving, the fee is $20 per car.

In Maricopa, Copper Sky Park Dog Park welcomes dogs to play off-leash. There is a part for tiny dogs and another for huge dogs in this large dog park. On hot days, each park features water fountains and a few trees to provide shade. While your dog makes new friends and explores the gated area, relax at a picnic table. Every day of the week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., the park is open.

The Casa Grande Ruins National Monument welcomes pets. Bring Petzooie along to experience the wonder and complexity of a vast network of towns and irrigation canals. In the park, well-behaved pets on a leash or under physical control are welcome. You must clean up after your animal and maintain complete control over it at all times. The area is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week.

Explore the Montezuma Well cenote trails at the Montezuma Castle National Monument with your dog. The path from the parking lot to the "well" is a loop, with stairs on one side (near the ranger's office) and is rather steep, while the other side (near the vault toilets) is longer but flatter. These two solutions are suitable for people and dogs of varied fitness levels.

Clark Park welcomes pets. This neighborhood meeting location is set on ten acres and features a wonderful enclosed space. Because the dog park is grassy, it's a perfect place to play fetch in the afternoon. Visitors can cool themselves in the shade of the park's trees on warm days. After that, take a walk with your leashed dog along the park's asphalt trails. Owners of dogs are reminded to tidy up after their pets. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week.

30. Surprise Indoor/Outdoor Farmers Market

The Surprise Indoor/Outdoor Farmers Market, hosted by Surprise/Arizona Traditions, will be open year-round on the second Wednesday of each month. Over 60 local vendors sell fresh vegetables, grass-fed beef, artisan baked goods, award-winning sauces, organic seasonings, raw honey, organic dog treats, local free-range eggs, and more at the pet-friendly farmer's market. They'll also have arts and crafts, live music, food trucks, and other local companies on the premises.
