Dogs are allowed in most portions of the Coconino National Forest as long as they are on a 6-foot leash. Please refer to the websites for further information on where dogs are not permitted. Coconino, Lake Mary Picnic Area, Lava River Cave, and Red Mountain Trail are all worth seeing.

Bring Petzooie to Arizona Falls, a renovated hydropower plant that also serves as a gathering spot. Arizona Falls is a gorgeous work of art as well as an energy-generating technology, formed by a natural 20-foot plunge along the Arizona Canal. The water room has seating, and a shade structure covers seats beside a pool of water. At all times, dogs must be leashed. The building can be found at G.R. Herberger Park is located at the intersection of 56th Street and Indian School Road.

Nozomi Park is a fenced dog park with chairs, water fountains, and entertaining obstacles such as a see-saw, balance beam, tunnels, and hurdles. Off-leash playing is a lot of fun at the park! Mondays from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., maintenance is closed.

Rio Vista Park welcomes pets. This 52-acre community park provides residents with a diverse range of activities and amenities. The Rio Vista Recreation Center, various sporting fields, a playground, and a splash pad are all located here. Peoria's Veterans Memorial Wall is also located in the park. Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park as long as their waste is cleaned up after them. Rio Vista Park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every day of the week.

The Bark Park is over three acres of fully fenced space where your dog can run and play. The park is a beautiful place.

A big, designated off-leash dog park at Morris K. Udall Park Park offers separate areas for large and small dogs, both of which are fully gated. The park also offers a lighted section as well as drinking stations for both humans and dogs.

Lights, three double access gates, a split two-acre space for large and small dogs, dog-friendly potable water fountains, scooper dispenser, and ramada with benches are among the amenities named after Miko, a TPD police dog who died in the line of duty. Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., we are closed for maintenance.

During the summer months, guests are allowed to bring their well-behaved dogs to enjoy an Urban Oasis in the Heart of Tucson (June - September). Dog entry is $3 per dog, per visit, or $20 for a Dog Membership, plus $10 for each additional dog.
