Dog Park Locations

On 6.5 acres, Roscoe Dog Park is a great spot to let your dog have some off-leash exercise. This is an excellent spot for all dogs, with distinct spaces for passive and active dogs. Throughout the year, the park is open from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Water fountains for dogs and humans, picnic tables and seats, a dog run with illumination, trash bags, a double-gate entrance, restrooms, and parking are among the amenities.

The Kingman Dog Park is fenced off and divided into large and small dog spaces. A picnic area with grills and facilities is also available in the park. Thursday mornings to 1:30 p.m., the park is closed for maintenance.

Northern Horizon Park, located on the corner of 63rd and Northern Avenues, features a big fenced-in play area, a small dog play area, drinking fountains, shade trees, seats, and trash stations. This is the largest dog park in Glendale. On Mondays, this dog park is closed.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park is a dog-friendly state park and trail in Cottonwood, Arizona. You and your dog can enjoy hiking, canoeing, picnicking, fishing, and other activities while exploring more than 420 acres of the established portion of Dead Horse Ranch State Park. At all times, dogs must be kept on a leash.

Spend an afternoon in Scottsdale, Arizona's Eldorado Park, which spans sixty acres and has something for everyone in the family. Take Petzooie for a walk around the lake on the greenbelt walking trail. Let the human children play on the playground or go for a dip in the pool. Leashed dogs are welcome to accompany their owners on a tour of this fascinating and diverse environment, which is owned and administered by the Phoenix Water Services Department. To visit the wetlands, you'll need a permit. Permits are valid for three months and can be obtained by calling Heather Finden at the number listed. For their own safety and the conservation of the wetlands, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.Because there is no shade, it is preferable to visit the wetlands early in the day during hot months, especially if you have a dog with you. The trail is dirt with tiny pebbles on it. There are no drinking facilities on site, so make sure you and your dog have enough of water.

The Lookout Mountain Preserve offers a variety of hiking paths. All trails in Phoenix are subject to leash rules, thus dogs must be leashed at all times. These mountains are the lesser cousins of the more well-known North Mountain region, which is located just to the south. It offers a chance to hike to a peak and enjoy vistas without the crowds and substantial elevation rises of nearby Piestewa Peak and North Mountain.

The Rotary Dog Park in Bullhead City, Arizona, is a fenced dog park featuring separate spaces for little and large dogs. They offer beautiful agility equipment, and the park is just along the river, so after a full day of play, you can take your dogs for a swim in the Colorado River.
