Stop by the Brown's Ranch Trailhead in Scottsdale, Arizona, for over 176 miles of mapped, recognized, and maintained trails. From here, you may visit attractions such as Granite Mountain, Cholla Mountain, Brown's Mountain, and Cathedral Rock, as well as routes for all ability levels. There is a big parking lot with facilities and water near the trailhead, as well as interactive exhibits on the Preserve's history. Take your dog to Dobbins Lookout to get a bird's eye view of Phoenix. This viewing point is located at a height of 2,330 feet above Phoenix Valley, and it is only a fifteen-minute drive from downtown Phoenix. You can either drive to the top or trek the three-mile Holbert Trail, which is challenging. Try going at sunset, when the sun's light reflects off the rocks, turning them vivid crimson. If you're going hiking, make sure you have plenty of water for both you and Petzooie. At Dobbins Lookout, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is dog-friendly and spans over 1.25 million acres. Dogs on leash are allowed to explore Glen Canyon and swim in the lake. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. The Recreation Area is open year-round, twenty-four hours a day. 147. Marcus Landslide Trail
Take your dog to Marcus Landslide Trail for an easy stroll with expansive views of the Sonoran Valley. This is Arizona's second largest landslide, resulting in spectacular rock formations, many of which are designated by educational signage describing their geological significance. With only a 300 foot elevation rise, the path is just under four miles long, including an optional.7 mile loop. Come in the spring to see the blooming wildflowers. Because there is no shade and no water at the trailhead, bring lots of water for yourself and Petzooie. At all times, dogs must be leashed.

The Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, located in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, is a great area to get away from it all with Fido. This recreation area offers camping, fishing, picnics, boating, and wildlife viewing. All you have to do is keep your dog on a leash at all times.

Parkridge Park Dog Park in Peoria allows dogs and their owners to play in two small sections, one for tiny dogs and the other for large dogs. If you have a shaggy or longer-haired dog, keep in mind that this park has a lot of dry grass. Parkridge Park Dog Park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every day of the week.
