Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is dog-friendly and spans over 1.25 million acres. Dogs on leash are allowed to explore Glen Canyon and swim in the lake. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. The Recreation Area is open year-round, twenty-four hours a day.
